Your privacy at Pupupp

• When you enter a dog: your first name, email, optional mobile number, optional city/state, and your dog’s name, breed, bio, and photo.
• When you vote: your name and email (verified with a one-time code), or — if you choose “Vote with Facebook” — your Facebook user ID, name, and email if you allow it. We never see your Facebook password or post anything for you. We also keep a record of your votes and any cheer message.
• When you buy: your name, email, shipping address (for physical items), and order details. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
• Automatically: IP address, browser/device info, and a secure cookie that remembers you as a verified voter on that device (so you can vote with one tap).

• Run the contest: show dogs and standings, count votes, prevent fraud and duplicate voting, and pick winners.
• Fulfill orders and deliver digital posters.
• Send contest emails (your voting link, verification codes, cutline reminders, order receipts) and, if you added your number, contest alert texts. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails anytime and reply STOP to texts.
• Measure and improve our ads (see “Advertising” below).

Dog names, breeds, bios, photos, and cheer messages are public on the site. Your email and phone number are never shown.

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run Pupupp:

• Stripe (payments) and Printify (printing and shipping custom products)
• Our database, file-storage, and email-delivery providers
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) for Facebook Login and ad measurement

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the contest from fraud.

When you enter or buy, we send Meta an event (such as “registration” or “purchase”) with a one-way hashed (encrypted) version of your email and phone, plus your IP address and browser type, so we can measure which ads work. Meta’s use of this data is governed by Meta’s own privacy policy. You can manage ad preferences in your Facebook/Instagram settings.

We keep contest and voting records for the season plus up to 2 years for fraud prevention, winner verification, and tax records. Order records are kept as long as required for accounting and tax purposes. Email verification codes expire after 10 minutes.

You can ask us to see, correct, or delete your information, or to remove your dog’s entry, by emailing support@pupupp.com. Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional rights; we honor these requests for all U.S. users and won’t treat you differently for using them.

To delete data we received through Facebook Login, either (1) remove our app (it may appear as “Izee,” the company that operates our login) in your Facebook settings under Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites and choose to send a deletion request, or (2) email support@pupupp.com with the subject “Delete my Facebook data.” We’ll remove your Facebook ID, name, and email from our voter records. Past votes stay counted but are no longer linked to you.

Pupupp is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. Contest entrants must be 18 or older.

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed verification codes, and signed cookies, and limit access to personal data. No system is perfectly secure, so please contact us right away if you think your information was misused.
