America’s Top Pup — Season 1 ($10,000 Challenge)

This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Meta, Google, Apple, or TikTok. You release those companies from any liability related to the Contest.

Contestant Entry & Prize Eligibility (U.S. Only): Entering a dog and winning a prize is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 or older at the time of entry. Physical merchandise and prizes ship only to addresses within the 50 United States and D.C. Employees of Pupupp and their immediate family and household members are not eligible to win. You must own the dog you enter, or have the owner’s permission, and you must own or have permission to use the photo you submit.

Voter Eligibility: Friends, family, and supporters (age 13 or older, whether located in the United States or abroad) may cast verified free daily votes or purchase digital boost packs to support an eligible U.S. contestant dog.

During the Registration Period (and while Round 1 entry remains open), visit pupupp.com/enter, upload a photo of your dog, and complete the entry form (dog’s name, breed, your first name and email). Entry is 100% free — there is never an entry fee or purchase required to enter. Limit one entry per dog, and one entry per person per Season. Entries that are incomplete, use another person’s dog or photo without permission, or contain offensive content may be disqualified.

Each eligible entry is placed in a group of up to 80 dogs in the order entries are received. New groups are spawned automatically as entries arrive, with no maximum cap on total entries or total groups. Entrants cannot choose a group.

Standings are determined solely by the number of valid votes a dog receives during the current round. Pre-loaded votes earned or purchased during the Registration Period count toward Round 1. Following Round 1, vote totals reset to zero at the start of each subsequent round. If a group has fewer dogs than the number that advance, all of its dogs advance. Ties at a cutline are broken in favor of the dog whose entry was received first. This is a contest decided by votes, not a game of chance. Pupupp’s official vote records are final.

Free daily vote: anyone 13 or older may cast one free vote per dog every 24 hours. The first time you vote, you verify either by entering a 6-digit code we email you or by logging in with Facebook; after that, the device you verified on remembers you. Each person may use only one email address and one Facebook account. Temporary or disposable email addresses are not accepted.

Free Refer-a-Pup bonus votes (+10 votes for both dogs): when an entrant shares their unique referral invite link (pupupp.com/enter?ref=[slug]) and a new eligible dog owner registers a different dog using a different email address, both the referring dog and the newly registered dog receive +10 free bonus votes toward Round 1. Self-referrals, duplicate entries, or fake accounts are void and may result in disqualification.

Bonus votes with purchase: some items in the Pupupp Shop include bonus votes for a dog chosen at checkout. The number of bonus votes is shown on each item before purchase. Bonus votes are promotional points with no cash value, cannot be transferred after purchase, and are not refundable separately from the item (except in the event of a Contest cancellation under Section 4).

Free bonus votes by mail (no purchase): to receive 40 free bonus votes for a dog — the same number included with our lowest-priced bonus-vote item — mail a postcard or letter with your name, email, the dog’s name, and the dog’s voting page link to: Pupupp Bonus Votes, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801. Limit one request per envelope and one request per person per day. Requests must be postmarked during the round they apply to and received within 5 days of the round’s end; votes are credited to the round in which the request is received. Mechanically reproduced requests are void.

Prohibited: bots, scripts, fake or multiple email addresses, paying third parties for votes, or any other attempt to manipulate voting. Pupupp may remove invalid votes and disqualify any entrant or dog involved, in its sole discretion.

• Grand Champion (1): $10,000 cash (paid by check or bank transfer) and a feature on the cover of the Pupupp digital magazine issue. Approximate retail value (“ARV”): $10,000.
• Group Winners (one per group at the conclusion of Round 5 Group Finals): a framed canvas portrait of the dog and a $50 Pupupp Shop credit. ARV: $105 each. The number of Group Winners equals the number of active groups completing the Round 5 Group Finals.

Prizes are awarded to the entrant (the dog’s owner as listed on the entry). No prize substitution or transfer except by Pupupp, which may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Winners are responsible for all taxes; winners of prizes worth $600 or more must provide a completed IRS Form W-9 and will receive a Form 1099.

Potential winners will be notified by email within 7 days after the Grand Finale and must reply within 7 days and sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release (where lawful). If a potential winner cannot be reached, is ineligible, or does not respond in time, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to the next-highest eligible dog.

By entering, you grant Pupupp a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and use your dog’s photo, name, and bio on pupupp.com, in emails, on social media, and in ads promoting the Contest and future Pupupp seasons, and to print them on products ordered for your dog. You keep ownership of your photo. You can ask us to remove your entry at any time by emailing support@pupupp.com; removal withdraws the dog from the Contest.

Pupupp donates $0.10 for each shelter dog meal counted on the site (from free votes and orders, as shown on each item) to a 501(c)(3) animal-welfare charity. Donations are made by Pupupp; they are not tax-deductible for voters or buyers.

Pupupp may cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond its control affect its integrity, or if the Minimum Bracket Threshold described in Section 4 is not reached, and in that case may extend the Registration Period, determine winners from eligible votes received before the issue, or nullify the Contest and refund paid Starter/Boost orders. Pupupp is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries or votes, or for technical malfunctions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, entrants release Pupupp from any claims arising out of the Contest or any prize. These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming. Any dispute will be resolved individually, without class action, in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.
